The Gasworks Choir are delighted to be returning to St George's. This hugely popular 160 strong community choir sing a fabulous range of songs, from pop, folk and gospel to jazz, classical and world music. Their concerts offer a powerful hour of acappella harmony, suitable for music lovers of all ages. The Family Matinee welcomes young children.
Directed by Ali Orbaum and Zoie Kennedy, the Gasworks Choir was the first community choir to form in Bristol in 1997 and has been going strong ever since. Original and beautiful song arrangements combine with spirited singing for a heart-lifting concert with a touch of festive cheer. Dee Jarlett's Gasworks Singers and the independent Gasmen Collective will also be performing.
